Objectives:
The objective for this lesson is to encourage students to look into their path of being trained as graphic designers.
Purpose:
The purpose of this in-class project is to change the students' preconception about how to pursue their design dreams. There is so much to learn in the professional field. Everything we learn forms our view and approaches to design. We don't have to start as a designer to be a designer. As a matter of fact, many famous designers started as something else and transitioned to the design field later in their lives. There is no set path to becoming a designer.
Evaluation:
Students' presentations will be evaluated in class via different classroom assessment techniques such as questions and answers, peer reviews, and classroom opinion polls.
